Who is a typical J.D. Byrider customer?
Our customers are hardworking men and women, and young people just starting out. Usually, our customers need a reliable car for work. Many of them have credit challenges—which isn't surprising, since nearly 50% of Americans don’t qualify for automobile financing at conventional financial institutions or new car dealerships. Customers are approved through our financing company, CNAC, which allows us to be as accommodating as possible. We want our customers to get back on the road affordably, as well as giving you a chance to maximize your opportunity for advancement.

We make it affordable to get on the road, and our Preferred Service Pricing and our limited warranties or optional service agreements make it easy to stay driving.
Does everyone qualify for financing?
Frankly, no. But we trust our customers, and we approve many people traditional banks wouldn’t finance. Even if you don’t qualify the first time you visit us, we’ll tell you what you need to do to try to qualify the next time. Even though we don’t approve everyone, we try hard to get you the financing you need for a dependable used car.
How does J.D. Byrider provide financing?
We use our separate financing company, CNAC, to provide our used car financing. When you buy a car from us, you’ll meet with a CNAC representative to go through our easy approval process. Unlike traditional banks and new car dealers, we work with you to examine your current situation–not your past mistakes–to create an affordable payment plan that fits your monthly budget.
What makes your cars more reliable?
We only buy cars that fit our rigid quality standards of lower miles and clean titles, which means we don’t buy cars with salvaged, rebuilt or restored titles. We’ve been in business for over 25 years, and our company’s buyers are very picky. They look for the best and most reliable vehicles. They know which cars perform best over time, and those are the ones we buy. J.D. Byrider cars are different than those you'll find at “as-is” used car lots. They go through an extensive inspection, computer testing, servicing and reconditioning process before they’re listed for sale.
We stand behind our work, too. Each car comes with our Good to Go limited warranty and Preferred Service Pricing that will help keep you on the road affordably for years to come.
What makes your program a better value for customers than others?
The J.D. Byrider program is priced fairly and our customers receive excellent value. We begin with buying better vehicles. Then, we invest in a 92-point inspection, computer testing, servicing and reconditioning. Reliability is critical to us, because it’s important to you. Our most favorable business outcome is for you to love your car and be able to make timely payments.
Does J.D. Byrider provide free or discounted vehicle servicing?
Most of our dealerships provide service at no extra charge on those items covered in the warranty or extended service agreement. For items not covered, our labor rates are usually about half the cost of other repair shops, and our parts are sold without the industry-standard markup. The service centers weren’t designed to make a profit for us. Instead, they’re designed to help keep you on the road affordably so you can keep up with your loan…and your life.
