J.D. Byrider executives walk for heart health in NYCCARMEL, INDIANA (January 14, 2009) — On Tuesday, Jan. 6, executives from leading used car and finance company franchise J.D. Byrider made a heart-healthy statement in Grand Central Station by walking on two of New York City’s finest treadmills. Jim DeVoe, Jr., J.D. Byrider’s CEO, and Jim England, President of J.D. Byrider Advertising Group, Inc., participated in “Walk for a Record,” an American Heart Association event promoting heart health in 2009. Jim and Jim walked for a half an hour to illustrate that walking just 30 minutes a day can reduce heart disease risk factors such as stroke, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
Others who walked on the treadmills during the event include New York Giant Cliff Louis, “Today Show” nutrition and health expert Joy Bauer and Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle.
