Easton J.D. Byrider to donate baseball tickets to local children’s charities
EASTON, Pa. – The Easton, Pa., J.D. Byrider is excited to announce the donation of Lehigh Valley IronPigs baseball tickets to seven local children-focused charitable organizations, including:
- Camelot for Children
- Sixth Street in Allentown and Ferry Street Apartments in Easton
- Turning Point of Lehigh Valley
- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Easton, Allentown and Bethlehem
Each week, from April 14-Sept. 6, 2010, the organizations listed above will be able to request four tickets per home game and the tickets will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis.
“Too often children in unfortunate circumstances miss opportunities to do extra activities, such as attend a baseball game, because of economic or health constraints,” said Lenny Tagliavia, owner of two Pennsylvania J.D. Byrider locations, including the Easton store at 2640 Freemansburg Ave. “We want to provide a way to make baseball memories for children and their families that might not otherwise have the chance.”.
